I n отпуск (1). Выражение to be on leave — быть в отпуске обычно употребляется в отношении представителей армии, флота, государственной службы, а также в сочетаниях to be on sick leave — быть в отпуске по болезни, быть на бюллетене; to be on maternity leave — быть в декретном отпуске.
